On 1st January 2024, the Noto-hanto Earthquake with a magnitude of 7.6 stuck the Noto Peninsula in Ishikawa, Japan. The director general of ICGdR, Professor Miyajima and his team conducted a field survey and formed a quick report on the preliminary reconnaissance of the event.
