The 20th International Symposium on Geo-disaster Reduction “20ISGdR” is an international platform for scholars, researchers and practitioners to discuss interdisciplinary research and practices in the fields of the reduction of the disasters triggered by geological and geophysical phenomena on the earth and beyond. The 20th ISGdR will take place on August 16-20, 2022 in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. Prospective authors are invited to submit original research abstracts.

Call for Abstracts

Authors are invited to submit original research abstracts on the following topics:

• Disasters caused by earthquake
• Disasters and climate change
• Disasters related to volcanism
• Disasters caused by human activities
• Landslides, Debris-flows, Rock avalanches
• Tsunamis and Storms
• Social resilience to disasters
• New technologies for disaster reduction
• And other related topics
